04/10/2007 - NIPMW News Release - NIPMW Meeting
- The NIPMW committee will be having their next meeting on Thursday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Rock Valley College.

- The NIPMW committee will be having their next meeting on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in room 142 in the Woodward Technology Center at Rock Valley College.

- The NIPMW committee has decided to no longer offer the Special License Plates previously offered due to a delay in the delivery date of the plates and lack of
interest. This opportunity will be re-addressed in 2008. A refund will be sent to those who have previously applied for the license plates. Thank you for your interest.
02/28/2007 - NIPMW News Release
- The Planning Committee for Northern Illinois Police Memorial Week would like to extend an
invitation for your agency's participation at Cherryvale Mall, Cherry Valley, Illinois, on
May 18th, 19th and 20th of 2007, for the 27th Annual Weekend Event.
This year, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has been invited to be our
Guest of Honor and speaker. The breakfast will be held at eight o'clock in the morning,
on the 18th, at the Tebala Shrine Temple. Tebala Shrine Temple is located at 7910 Newburg Road,
Rockford, Illinois. The set up time for displays at Cherryvale Mall will be on Thursday May 17, 2007 at 21:00 hrs.
If any agency would like to have an officer for the multi-jurisdictional "Honor Guard"
for the Annual Police Memorial Service and "Opening Breakfast Ceremony" at Tebala Shrine Temple,
contact Sgt. Aaron Booker with the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police at (815) 639-4670 or
Ofc. Dan Watton at the Rockford Police Department (815) 218-3273.

- The NIPMW committee will be having their next meeting on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in room 1300 in the Support Services Building (SSB) at Rock Valley College.
02/23/2007 - NIPMW News Release
- The NIPMW committee has commissioned a special event license plate
set that will bear the official NIPMW logo. The plates may be
legally displayed on your vehicle in lieu of your valid registration for
60 days from March 22, 2007 - May 20, 2007. Click HERE to print
out the form to apply for your NIPMW license plate.

- Aaron Booker is considering two practice dates at the
Tebala Shrine Temple. The first would be in the last week of April
and the second in the first week of May. They will probably
run two hours long. Letters will be sent to
member departments requesting Honor Guard
information in the first week of March.

- Jim Falzone has arranged the meeting with board members from the LZ
Peace Memorial.
It is scheduled for 01/21/06, 1000 hours, at The Stockholm Inn.

- The web site has been updated and will now provide meeting minutes,
agendas, and our financial report in pdf format. The complete
structure can easily be viewed under our
site map. Link requests have
been submitted to the three main Law Enforcement Memorial Web Sites.

first to post our logo and link.

- Web based POP3 Email accounts under yourname@nipmw.org have been
established for all members. They can be accessed by
clicking here.
Certified Police Officers of member departments can request their own
account by contacting us through our
online form.
